The ideal teacher will have:

* A clear and adaptable approach to teaching;
* A calm and consistent manner;
* The ability to teach students with varying needs and backgrounds.
* ID documents and have a DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

We have links with a wide range of specialist SEN schools, units and services across all key stages.

The role will require leading, delivering and coordinating lessons and curriculum to students that have significant communication and learning difficulties. You will need to be committed to ensuring pupils make good progress and encourage pupils to reach their potential through engaging and stimulating teaching.

Salary/Rate: £140 - £180/day

Locations various in London

Your main duties will include:

* Inspiring and engaging with children or young adults;
* Assessing individual learning needs and working on a group basis;
* Assessing and reporting on individual pupils' progress;
* Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as mainstream teachers, education welfare officers, social workers and Healthcare professionals.

The ideal teacher would have:
* An appropriate education degree with UK qualified teacher status (QTS);
* Previous teaching experience (not necessarily in an SEN setting);
* A clear and adaptable approach to teaching;
* A calm and consistent manner;
* The ability to teach students with varying needs and backgrounds;
* ID documents and have a DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

Strong overseas trained and newly qualified teachers will also be considered. Subject specialism is unimportant but recent experience of successful teaching in UK mainstream schools is essential along with exemplary classroom practice, including excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Experience of working with physically disabled children and young people is highly desirable but not essential.

Your main duties will include:
• Inspiring and engaging with young adults with physical and mental difficulties;
• Assessing individual learning needs and working on a group basis;
• Preparing materials, equipment and lessons;
• Assessing and reporting on individual pupils' progress;
• Assisting with the personal care needs of pupils; this may include feeding, changing and manual handling;
• Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as mainstream teachers, education welfare officers, social workers and Healthcare professionals.

The successful candidates need to have previous experience of working with SEN students and have a strong desire of getting involved in every aspect of the school.

Experience with children and young adults that have PMLD, SLD & EBD would be preferable.
